Global Master Data Supply Chain Associate

About the role

Join Lonza’s global supply chain team in San Jose, Costa Rica, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of supply chain master data. This hands‑on position supports manufacturing excellence and the delivery of life‑saving therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain supply chain master data in SAP, including material masters, BOMs, recipes, and related records.
• Process daily master‑data requests, perform updates, and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Assist in data‑quality reviews, identify inconsistencies, and support resolution.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Purchasing and other functions to gather and validate data requirements.
• Support workflow monitoring, documentation, and compliance with company and GMP requirements.
• Participate in master‑data improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and process efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Data Management, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience in data management, supply chain operations, ERP systems or related business environment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured work approach.
• Effective collaboration within a global team and strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP master‑data experience (required).
• Familiarity with SAP Supply Chain modules (preferred).
