Gerente de Planta – Manufactura Médica

About the role

DuPont, a global leader in polymer‑based medical and industrial solutions, is seeking a Plant Manager for its Heredia site. The role oversees the manufacturing of medical tubes and packaging in a highly regulated environment (ISO 13485) and reports directly to the Health Sector Operations Director.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate daily production activities for medical device manufacturing.
• Lead a workforce of more than 150 employees, fostering safety, performance, quality, inventory, and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with shared site resources such as EHS, Maintenance, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to resolve root‑cause issues.
• Interact with customers to demonstrate operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and build trust.
• Define clear objectives and embody DuPont’s values throughout the plant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, pharma, health).
• Proven leadership, data‑driven decision‑making and project management abilities.
• High level of English for global team interaction.
