Full Stack Software Developer (.NET, Azure, Power BI)

About the role

A U.S.-based technology company that builds digital transformation solutions for manufacturing, distribution and specialty services clients is adding a Full Stack Software Developer to its Costa Rica team. The developer works with engineers in Costa Rica and the United States to build scalable, intelligent solutions using Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AI, machine learning, Power BI, Microsoft 365 and modern .NET.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web, server-side and mobile applications with modern .NET technologies.
• Build scalable applications, REST APIs, integrations and services deployed on cloud platforms.
• Develop features for web portals, mobile apps, manufacturing plant solutions and collaboration platforms.
• Integrate applications with ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and third-party platforms.
• Contribute to AI-based solutions such as machine learning, OCR, computer vision, NLP and generative AI.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and data-driven business solutions.
• Take part in solution design, code reviews, testing, CI/CD and collaborate with teams in Costa Rica and the U.S. using Lean Agile.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English, spoken and written.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills; able to work independently in agile settings.

Required skills

• C#.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern web development.
• REST APIs, cloud applications and systems integration.
• Git, Visual Studio and/or VS Code, software testing and SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud development.
• Preferred: Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless, frontend and mobile development, AI/LLM/RAG apps, Power BI, ERP/CRM, Microsoft 365 tools, and Azure/Google Cloud or Microsoft certifications.
