QA Engineer - Ecommerce Storefront Testing

About the role

Excel Nearshore is looking for a QA Engineer to support the final phase of a strategic B2B e-commerce implementation. You will test storefront functionality and validate data flowing through integrations with SAP ERP and InRiver PIM, including orders, inventory, pricing and product data, so issues are found before reaching customers. The position is fully remote and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Test new features, enhancements and bug fixes across the VTEX IO storefront.
• Validate data integrity across SAP and InRiver integration points (orders, inventory, pricing, product data).
• Design and run test cases and plans covering browsing, cart, checkout and account/quote workflows.
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with the Developer and Team Lead.
• Run regression tests before releases to make sure existing functionality is not broken.
• Flag discrepancies between storefront data and the upstream SAP/InRiver source data.

Required profile

• Prior QA experience on an e-commerce platform, ideally VTEX or a comparable headless commerce platform.
• Comfortable validating data flows between a storefront and backend systems (ERP/PIM), not just UI testing.
• Experience writing and running structured test cases and plans.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong English for direct collaboration with the Team Lead and, as needed, the client's team.
• Nice to have: experience with SAP- or InRiver-integrated platforms, B2B testing scenarios (account hierarchies, contract pricing, quotes), and prior nearshore/distributed delivery experience.
