Freelance Biology & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Biology and Python expert to design and validate computational biology problems for AI training projects. The role is project‑based, flexible and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that simulate real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non‑trivial reasoning chains.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications in bioinformatics, systems biology and molecular modeling.
• Verify solutions with Python and provide clear documentation and correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied research, teaching or related work.
• Strong written English (C1+).

Required skills

• Python programming (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, BioPython).
• Experience with biological data analysis and algorithms.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and computational methods.

What we offer

• Flexible freelance contract with an estimated workload of 10‑20 hours per week during active phases.
• Compensation up to $17 USD per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
