FP&A Analyst

About the role

Equifax is building a new Financial Planning & Analysis Center of Excellence in Costa Rica. As an FP&A Analyst on this pilot team, you will support core financial planning activities, delivering accurate analysis and reporting that influence forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance across a global business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial analysis and research to support decision‑making across global business units.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for the annual budgeting process, including expense, service fee, and staffing forecasts.
• Analyze operational performance to spot trends, financial variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to consolidate data, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure strict financial data integrity.
• Lead ad‑hoc financial projects and promote automation and continuous improvement of reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Advanced university student or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in financial analysis, corporate planning, or accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate budgeting principles.
• English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level.
