Finance Specialist – Contract-to-Cash

About the role

The Finance Specialist will join BCG Nexus’s Shared Services team in Heredia, Costa Rica, supporting financial management of client and case team portfolios across North America. You will work on the full contract‑to‑cash cycle, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools.

Key responsibilities

• Enable and execute efficient revenue and cash management operations for case teams and local finance teams.
• Partner with North America Region Controller Analysis team on initiatives to improve days sales outstanding (DSO) and client contract management.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global finance, legal, and risk teams on cross‑functional projects.
• Manage the contract‑to‑cash cycle: engagement setup, contract execution, invoicing, and receivables monitoring.
• Set up and maintain client contracts in SAP, ensuring accurate commercial terms.
• Support budget setup and ongoing reviews, aligning contracts, staffing, and financial targets.

Required profile

• B.A./B.S. degree in accounting or finance (preferred) with at least 2 years of finance experience.
• Strong analytical and business/financial management background.
• Ability to work varied hours, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication with a customer‑service focus.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced financial tracking and analysis).
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with SAP for contract management.
