Finance Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, the Finance Manager will drive strategic financial management, reporting and performance for the manufacturing site, aligning with TE’s purpose and values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial management, reporting, cost accounting, standard costing and financial closing for the plant.
• Develop and monitor the annual operating plan, internal controls, fixed assets and inventory management.
• Track actual performance versus forecasts and present monthly performance reports to senior management in the US and Europe.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasts and ensure alignment with corporate timelines.
• Oversee ERP system (Epicor) to maintain accurate standard costs, perpetual inventory records and compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage capital budgeting, capital expenditure requests and depreciation forecasts.
• Support new product introductions with engineering teams to achieve target cost and launch timelines.
• Lead a team of two direct reports and collaborate with shared services and other TE factories.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience with significant management and leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment.
• Track record of fostering high‑performance and continuous‑improvement cultures.
• Experience developing and communicating strategic objectives and leading strategic initiatives.
