Finance Manager

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning and execution for the OneHUB Costa Rica site. The role supports the Business Services Director, drives process improvements, and ensures compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional finance support to the Business Services Director and team, leading planning cycles (Plan, Update, LBE, LRP) to meet corporate deadlines.
• Conduct financial analysis for capital projects, new products, and process initiatives, delivering customized solutions for the site.
• Represent OneHUB Costa Rica finance in cross‑functional meetings such as Tier4, Audit Risk & Opportunities, and shop‑floor visits.
• Manage month‑end close, internal and external audit support, PROCOMER reporting, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, supervise the concierge function, and oversee Concur, corporate credit card, procure‑to‑pay, and electronic invoicing processes.
• Handle fixed assets and lease accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and SOX control compliance.
• Lead tax‑related projects and ensure adherence to corporate, legal, EHS, fiscal, and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
