Field Clinical Specialist – Interventional Cardiology (Costa Rica)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist in Interventional Cardiology will support the safe and effective use of Boston Scientific’s cardiovascular products across hospitals in Costa Rica. Working directly with surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will ensure that procedures are performed with the highest clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical assistance to physicians and staff before, during and after interventional cardiology procedures.
• Deliver product education, procedural training and hands‑on support in the operating room.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their clinical and business needs.
• Collaborate with regional sales, clinical leads and management to align on account strategies and drive product adoption.
• Identify opportunities to expand product utilization and contribute to territory growth.
• Document activities, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support cases, training and business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Respiratory Therapy, Certified Radiology Technology or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Proven experience assisting surgeons in the operating room and handling medical devices.
• Ability to manage high‑volume, high‑variety workloads in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Aseptic Technique certification (preferred).
• Medical device handling and troubleshooting.
