About the role

The role provides specialized technical support for the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of analytical instrumentation used in client laboratories. The aim is to ensure optimal equipment performance, compliance with quality standards and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, LC‑MS, ICP‑MS, UV‑Vis and FTIR.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment operational.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults on the above instruments.
• Deliver technical training to end‑users on proper operation and basic upkeep.
• Manage warranties, spare parts and technical documentation with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Prepare technical reports and keep intervention records up‑to‑date.
• Provide remote support via digital and telephone channels.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and international standards (ISO 9001, GLP).
• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Billing) to guarantee proper service delivery.
• Participate in continuous technical training programs.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Bio‑engineering, Physics or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling laboratory equipment, preferably analytical instrumentation.
• Advanced English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to travel throughout Central America and the Caribbean.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is a plus.
