Engineering Technician

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations through continuous development and project implementation. You will work on transfer projects and established manufacturing cells, ensuring compliance, supply continuity, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical job functions for manufacturing transfer projects and established cells.
• Collaborate with engineers, CNC programmers, supervisors, and other professionals to resolve technical issues.
• Support manufacturing by developing and implementing projects focused on compliance, supply, and cost objectives.
• Contribute to day‑to‑day production activities and help achieve overall business metrics.

Required profile

• Technical understanding of mechanical or manufacturing engineering disciplines (certificate/diploma required).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and objectives.
• Ability to work effectively with production staff, management, and technical professionals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Results‑oriented, able to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.
• Willingness to meet Controlled Environment Area (CEA) requirements and procedures.
• Analytical and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized, capable of handling multiple high‑priority tasks concurrently.
