Buyer

About the role

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring a reliable supply of raw materials needed for production. This role works closely with suppliers and internal teams to align material availability with future demand.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and send release orders to suppliers through the ERP system to meet production schedules.
• Monitor raw material in transit and maintain accurate in‑transit inventory reports.
• Maintain inventory control by reconciling transit data with established reports.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, negotiating adjustments to demand volumes as needed.
• Prepare Line of Balance documentation to support production planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar purchasing positions, preferably within manufacturing.
• Experience handling both national and international procurement processes.
• Advanced proficiency with Office 365.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, with effective lead‑time management.
