Manufacturing Systems Sr Technician

About the role

The Senior IT MOM Technician provides advanced support for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) applications and connected shop‑floor systems. Working onsite or virtually, you will ensure stable, secure, and reliable manufacturing operations while reducing application downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot MOM applications, PLC, CNC, SCADA, HMI, and historian systems.
• Deploy new technology releases and perform system integration testing at the machine level.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application, interface, and machine‑integration issues reported by users or identified through monitoring.
• Execute validation activities for quality‑relevant system changes in line with validation guidelines and change‑control processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support project execution, including qualification of hardware panels, controllers, and equipment.
• Manage operational elements such as users, groups, security resources, data transfers, and application service configurations.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis of recurring incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Several years of experience supporting manufacturing automation and MOM applications.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and mentor junior team members.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross‑functional teams.
