About the role

The Association Vicentina de Escazú seeks a dedicated Nurse to provide direct nursing care to vulnerable individuals. This temporary, onsite position focuses on health monitoring, medication administration, and supportive care in a compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs for each user.
• Administer prescribed medications safely.
• Assist with personal hygiene, comfort, and daily activities.
• Monitor health status, document clinical information, and report changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams to plan and adjust care.
• Provide health education, emotional support, and communication with families or responsible parties.

Required profile

• Formal nursing education (degree, licensure) and current professional authorization.
• Previous experience in nursing care within health centers, residences, hospitals, or similar settings.
• Humanized approach, empathy, active listening, and support for vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, clear communication, and organized clinical record‑keeping.
• Attention to detail, multitasking capability, and adherence to established protocols.
• Availability for onsite work in Escazú and flexible shift coverage (morning, afternoon, night, weekends).
