Strategy & Business Operations Head – CAMCAR

About the role

This senior position will serve as a strategic advisor to the Cluster President and senior management, driving the definition, prioritization and execution of CAMCAR’s critical business priorities while aligning with AstraZeneca’s Ambition 2030 and LATAM objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the strategic agenda, ensuring alignment with LATAM goals.
• Lead the CAMCAR Scorecard, provide data‑driven insights, and monitor key business metrics.
• Drive governance, performance management and execution excellence across the cluster.
• Support transformation, innovation and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Champion digital, data and AI enablement, promoting tools such as Teams, Copilot, Power BI and AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Strategy, Life Sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in strategy, business operations, finance, consulting or transformation roles, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Successful track record influencing senior leaders and delivering cross‑functional projects in matrix, multi‑country environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced digital literacy with experience using Microsoft Teams, Copilot, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Knowledge of AI tools, advanced analytics and automation for business improvement.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to engage with senior finance leaders.
