Email Designer – eCommerce Lifecycle Marketing

About the role

UN/COMMON is looking for an experienced Email Designer to create high‑performing email campaigns and lifecycle marketing assets for multiple eCommerce clients. The role focuses on retention‑focused creative work that aligns with brand guidelines and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop email campaigns, automated lifecycle flows, and retention marketing assets for eCommerce brands.
• Create visually compelling, conversion‑focused solutions, including motion‑based elements, GIFs, and lightweight animations.
• Collaborate with strategists, marketers, copywriters, and other creative stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Maintain quality and consistency across all deliverables and provide constructive design feedback during reviews.
• Support occasional internal marketing or business‑development creative needs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional email design experience, preferably with eCommerce, DTC, or agency clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English and availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto‑layout).
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Motion design experience, including GIF creation and familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
• Experience using AI design tools for image generation and optimization.
