Electromechanical Technician – Maintenance & Automation

About the role

The Electromechanical Technician III is responsible for maintaining and improving computer‑controlled equipment across the plant. Working with minimal supervision, you will design, program, and modify logic controllers, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and ensure all mechanical and electrical assets operate safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and modify logic controller programs for new or upgraded machinery.
• Assist in the installation of equipment such as conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, motors, counters, lighting, and heat tracing.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of automation failures, including motor control devices and input/output sensing devices.
• Provide feedback on reliability improvements and participate in root‑cause analysis.
• Independently inspect, maintain, and repair packaging, processing, storage, and utility systems.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
