Demand Planner and Inventory Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner and Inventory Management Specialist to work 100% remotely. The professional will use data‑driven methods to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and ensure product availability for our e‑commerce operations, especially on Amazon.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales, seasonality, promotions and market trends.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical methods.
• Calculate reorder points, recommend replenishment plans and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Extract and interpret inventory and sales data from Amazon Seller Central.
• Adjust forecasts for holidays, promotions, and external market factors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Logistics to align inventory plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE) and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and communicate actionable insights.

Required profile

• Fluent professional English communication.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management or related supply‑chain roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Seller Central and e‑commerce inventory operations.
• Availability to work full‑time during U.S. business hours (8 AM‑5 PM CT/PST).
• Comfortable working under a contractor agreement and using Hubstaff for time tracking.
