Databricks Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Databricks Analyst to support data analytics and financial reporting initiatives. The role works remotely from Costa Rica and collaborates with Finance, Accounting and IT teams to build scalable data solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines and analytical workflows in Databricks.
• Extract, transform and validate data from financial systems, ensuring accuracy and governance.
• Build dashboards, reports and financial models to support FP&A and accounting functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Automate financial reporting processes and document data flows and technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience using Databricks.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and reporting processes.
• Experience supporting FP&A, controllership or audit functions is a plus.

Required skills

• Databricks platform.
• SQL and data modelling.
• Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Integration of ERP or financial systems with Databricks.
• BI tools – Power BI or Tableau.
