Data Specialist

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Data Specialist to support the maintenance and research of relationship and company‑structure data used in client deliveries. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and clear documentation while contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute established data collection, validation, and update processes.
• Maintain relationship and company‑structure databases, including historical records, with high accuracy.
• Respond to client requests and data inquiries according to defined service standards.
• Support internal and external users in accessing and interpreting relationship data.
• Ensure consistent data quality, integrity, and governance across all deliverables.
• Produce and maintain clear documentation such as procedures, methodologies, and FAQs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance workflows through automation and AI tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data management, research, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high data quality standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with responsiveness to client inquiries.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and interest in ethical AI use.
