Data Management Analyst

About the role

Join Experian’s Data Consumer Assurance team to monitor, validate, and assure the quality of AWS‑based data assets. You will work in a cloud‑native environment, ensuring data meets standards for quality, completeness, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate AWS‑hosted data assets for quality, consistency, and completeness.
• Develop and automate data quality checks, validation routines, and anomaly detection using AWS Glue, Lambda, and SQL.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports in Amazon QuickSight to surface data quality metrics.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and profiling to identify patterns and data issues.
• Collaborate with data engineering, compliance, and product teams to support governance and remediation.
• Document monitoring procedures, automation scripts, and validation results for audit purposes.
• Help optimise data workflows and identify automation opportunities in AWS pipelines (S3, Glue Jobs, Step Functions).
• Contribute to the enhancement of data quality frameworks and SLA monitoring processes.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data operations.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and QuickSight.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validation, and profiling.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
• Experience handling large datasets in cloud‑based architectures.
