Cybersecurity Identity & Access Manager

About the role

Evertec is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Manager to lead IAM and PAM initiatives across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will work closely with senior security leadership to align identity strategies with the company’s cybersecurity roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational execution of IAM and PAM functions, including policy development, KPIs, dashboards, and maturity roadmaps.
• Mentor and manage a team of IAM analysts and engineers, handling workload distribution, escalations, and technical guidance.
• Automate end‑to‑end identity lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver) and enforce least‑privilege, RBAC/ABAC, and Segregation of Duties controls.
• Manage enterprise authentication methods such as MFA, passwordless, conditional access, and SSO.
• Oversee privileged access platforms, ensuring secure vaulting, rotation, session monitoring, and admin access controls.
• Act as IAM subject‑matter expert during incidents involving compromised credentials or unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, and Security Architecture teams to strengthen identity threat detection and response.
• Support cloud identity governance across Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud, promoting Zero Trust principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of hands‑on IAM/PAM experience, with proven leadership of technical teams.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOX, and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).

Required skills

• Enterprise IAM platforms: Microsoft Entra ID, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, SailPoint, Ping.
• Identity protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos.
• Privileged Access Management and secure vaulting solutions.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud.
• Authentication methods: MFA, passwordless, conditional access, SSO.
• Zero Trust and access governance principles.
