AI Lead / Architect

About the role

Join 3Pillar Global as an AI Lead / Architect and define the technical direction for scalable AI solutions across multiple domains. You will act as a strategic advisor to clients, drive innovation, and ensure ethical AI practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end architecture for AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI and MCP systems, including data pipelines, model training/inference and MLOps.
• Architect cloud‑native AI solutions using Azure ML, AWS SageMaker or GCP Vertex AI and integrate LLMs via APIs or open‑source models.
• Design retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate or FAISS.
• Guide teams on CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring and automated retraining using MLOps frameworks.
• Evaluate build‑vs‑buy decisions, benchmark AI tools, and recommend emerging technologies.
• Mentor technical teams, ensure responsible AI practices and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) with 15+ years of industry experience in AI/ML and IT services.
• Strong grasp of AI architecture patterns (RAG, Agent AI, MCP, prompt orchestration).
• Proven leadership, communication and strategic thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Python and ML libraries: scikit‑learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Gen AI APIs and prompt engineering: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, embeddings, fine‑tuning.
• Cloud AI platforms: Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI.
• Vector databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS.
• MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Platform engineering: GitHub, Jira, CI/CD pipelines.
• Agent evaluation tools: LLM‑as‑judge, Promptfoo, Ragas, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse.
• Programming languages: C/C++ and Oracle knowledge for large legacy codebases.
