Customer Engineer – Hybrid (Costa Rica)

About the role

The Customer Engineer (ACE) joins Armis’ Customer Team to expand deployments, increase visibility, and ensure seamless operation of the Armis platform for clients. Based in Costa Rica, the role works in a hybrid model (three days onsite) and requires extensive travel to customer sites during the first six to eight months.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations (40‑80% of time) to perform installations and configuration.
• Complete 100+ Armis deployments within the initial six‑to‑eight‑month period.
• Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, car rentals and accommodations.
• Collaborate with Technical Account Managers to accelerate time‑to‑value.
• Execute network engineering and security tasks across multiple sites, both on‑site and remotely.
• Provide supplemental coverage for Technical Customer Success Managers as needed.
• Log, track and manage support requests through the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in solutions service delivery for small to enterprise‑size environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the onboarding period.
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new cybersecurity technologies.

Required skills

• CCENT or CCNA certification.
• Linux+ and Security+ certifications.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Automation experience.
• Knowledge of IT and IoT security concepts.
• Network engineering fundamentals.
