Corporate IT Lead

About the role

Smartwyre is seeking a senior, autonomous Corporate IT Lead to own all corporate IT operations, security, compliance, and employee technology experience in a fully remote, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own corporate IT operations, including onboarding, offboarding, hardware provisioning, access management, and endpoint support.
• Manage Windows and macOS environments, oversee MSPs, contractors, and IT vendors.
• Drive IT strategy, systems governance, SaaS management, integrations, and technology improvements.
• Lead Identity & Access Management using Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and privileged access controls.
• Run the SOC 2 compliance program, handling audits, controls, evidence collection, and remediation.
• Oversee corporate IT security, third‑party technology risk, and incident response.
• Establish information management and governance practices and govern AI tool usage.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT experience with ownership of IT operations in a lean environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage MSPs and IT vendors and to work independently as a senior contributor.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to balance security, usability, cost, and business needs.

• Entra ID, Single Sign‑On (SSO), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), Microsoft 365.
• SaaS governance and integration knowledge.
• PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs, scripting, workflow automation.
