Coordinador(a) de Recursos Humanos – Operación diaria

About the role

ElectroPlast is looking for a hands‑on Human Resources Coordinator to manage the daily HR operations of its Orotina plant. This is an execution‑focused position, not a strategic one, responsible for ensuring that employee files, disciplinary actions, and onboarding processes are handled accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Draft disciplinary letters and prepare suspension or termination documentation in accordance with Costa Rican Labor Code and internal regulations.
• Process all personnel actions: hires, transfers, promotions, vacations, leaves, and suspensions.
• Maintain physical and digital employee records to meet ISO 13485 audit requirements.
• Coordinate complete onboarding, deliver HR induction, and follow up during the first 90 days.
• Conduct exit interviews, report monthly turnover findings, especially for the Injection area.
• Administer food and transportation subsidies and verify correct usage.
• Advise supervisors on applying disciplinary procedures.
• Support recruitment for bilingual positions and coordinate daily activities with the Recruiter.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of full‑cycle HR experience, including hiring, onboarding, payroll, and off‑boarding.
• Strong knowledge of the Costa Rican Labor Code, especially articles 69 and 81.
• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms.
• Use of AI tools applied to HR processes.
• Handling payroll systems (CCSS, INS) and employee record management.
