About the role

The Process Coordinator will lead strategic sourcing initiatives for the purchase of equipment, supplies, and services needed by Walmart Central America business units. The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, anti‑corruption standards, and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and execute the strategic sourcing model, validating budgets, estimating benefits, and assessing risks.
• Collaborate with category stakeholders to advance category strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities that affect cost, quality, and risk.
• Drive project execution according to the established plan, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy.
• Identify potential new suppliers, benchmark market offers, and evaluate competitiveness, delivery times, and service/product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience as a process coordinator in procurement or sourcing.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
