Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Team Member

About the role

Join the Le Pain Quotidien kitchen team and help deliver fresh, high‑quality meals to guests in a warm, community‑focused environment. As a Cook you will prepare menu items, maintain cleanliness, and support the Kitchen Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all menu items, including seasonal and special dishes, following LPQ ticket standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following cleaning checklists, washing dishes, and detailing equipment as needed.
• Assist the Kitchen Manager with inventory control, using prep sheets to ensure proper food par levels.
• Conduct line checks for quality control and adhere to opening, mid‑day, and closing procedures.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation checklists to guarantee safe handling of ingredients.

Required profile

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Previous knife‑handling experience is a plus.
• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to be cross‑trained in all kitchen areas.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
