Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer leads data‑driven initiatives to enhance lead time, quality, productivity and customer experience across complex, regulated operations. Acting as a change agent and technical leader, you will drive structured problem‑solving, embed a culture of continuous improvement and partner with Data & Analytics, Automation and Business Intelligence teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, A3 and Value Stream Mapping.
• Design and facilitate Kaizen workshops, root‑cause analyses and waste‑elimination events.
• Analyze large operational and quality datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks and high‑impact opportunities.
• Define, develop and govern KPIs, dashboards and performance‑management tools.
• Partner with senior process owners to design future‑state processes, standard work and control plans.
• Develop and validate discrete‑event simulation models for flow, capacity and variability analysis.
• Create project plans, business cases and executive summaries that quantify cost, capacity, service and risk impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading continuous improvement or operational excellence programs, preferably in a senior engineering role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex data sets and translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to lead cross‑functional and global teams.
