Senior Buyer

About the role

The Senior Buyer is responsible for planning, sourcing and purchasing raw materials, components, indirect material, and services to support sales and profit objectives while ensuring patient safety and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day supplier activities including relationship management, on‑time delivery, pricing, quality issues, forecasting and terms.
• Investigate, analyze and decide on new suppliers for raw materials and components.
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality, Planning, Logistics and Engineering on supplier concerns, material plans, transportation, and product changes.
• Implement and negotiate contracts, establish internal purchasing procedures, and support global procurement initiatives.
• Maintain ERP system setup, validate MRP routines, and generate purchase orders based on demand, lead times and inventory policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Global Trade, Operations Management, Logistics or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English reading, verbal and written skills.
