Consultant, Strategy, Planning and Business Operations

About the role

The SRG Strategy & Planning team acts as a business acceleration and execution hub, connecting strategy, portfolio prioritization, executive operations, intelligence, analytics and transformation. This Consultant, Strategy, Planning and Business Operations role reports to the VP, Strategic Planning and is remote, with occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at management's discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Data Access Review Board (DARB) programs, improving governance, compliance, reporting and execution.
• Manage PDLC intake, Voice of the Customer activities, prioritization forums, stage-gate reviews and governance processes across product teams, helping initiatives meet key performance indicators.
• Coach Product Managers on PDLC artifacts, review governance reports and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain portfolio visibility through JPD administration, governance reporting, performance metrics and tracking of risks, dependencies and action items.
• Manage the end-to-end DARB process, including intake reviews, meeting preparation, stakeholder coordination, approval tracking, escalations and SOPs.
• Facilitate governance meetings and coordinate stakeholders across Product, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Leadership.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, status reports, dashboards, scorecards and communications.
• Standardize governance templates, workflows, documentation and meeting structures.
• Use AI-enabled tools, workflow automation and productivity technologies to streamline reporting and administration.

Required profile

• 3-7 years of experience in project management, program management, business operations, PMO, governance or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree (e.g. MBA), PMP, CAPM, CSM, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
• Preferred: experience with product lifecycle governance, stage-gate processes, data-access or compliance review boards, and AI-driven automation.

• Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for dashboards, scorecards and reporting.
• Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
• Project or work-management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or Monday.com.
• AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and workflow automation.
