Vendor Relations Coordinator - Costa Rica
Cornerstone OnDemand · Hojancha
Job description
About the role
Cornerstone is hiring a Vendor Relations Coordinator for its new Costa Rica hub, a hybrid position reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CMO. The role owns the path of every marketing vendor agreement, from first redline to final payment, reviewing contracts, routing them through Legal, Finance, Security and Procurement, and ensuring vendors are onboarded, invoiced correctly and paid on time. It sits at the intersection of marketing, legal operations, procurement and project management.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the central intake point for marketing vendor agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, order forms, sponsorship and event contracts, agency agreements and renewals).
- Review contracts against standard terms, flag non-standard clauses and risks, and route agreements to Legal with clear summaries.
- Manage contracts end to end through approval workflows, following signing authority policies and executing via DocuSign.
- Own vendor onboarding, including supplier setup, tax and banking documentation and security or data privacy reviews.
- Create and track purchase requisitions and POs, partner with Accounts Payable to match invoices to POs and ensure timely payment.
- Maintain a central contract repository and tracker covering key dates, renewals, termination notices, spend and owners, and alert stakeholders before deadlines.
- Project manage a high volume of concurrent contracts, set timelines, communicate status and escalate blockers early.
- Guide marketers on what is needed and how long it takes, and track vendor spend against budget with Finance, supporting month-end accruals and quarterly planning.
- Improve intake, templates, playbooks and workflows, including opportunities for AI and automation, and report on contract cycle times, invoice aging, renewals and spend.
Required profile
- Fluent in English; 3-5+ years of experience in legal operations, contract administration, procurement or vendor management, ideally in a marketing or go-to-market organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with procure-to-pay processes, including purchase requisitions, POs, invoice matching and vendor onboarding.
- Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skills, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of commercial contract terms (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, payment terms, IP, indemnification, auto-renewals).
- Hands-on experience with e-signature tools such as DocuSign and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Nice to have: SaaS or technology company experience, familiarity with procurement, ERP or contract lifecycle management systems, experience with marketing-specific agreements, paralegal training or certifications, and experience with global vendors and multi-currency payments.
