Compensation Analyst

About the role
Moody's is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support its global total‑compensation strategy. The role will partner with the People team to design, administer, and analyze pay programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with the company’s objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and administration of base salary, short‑ and long‑term incentive plans, and job evaluation processes.
- Manage the Global Annual Compensation Review cycle, delivering accurate and timely results across all regions.
- Analyze industry salary survey data (e.g., McLagan, Radford) to benchmark compensation and produce insight reports for line managers.
- Collaborate with Compensation and People stakeholders to maintain data integrity and support decision‑making.
- Stay informed on AI tools and responsible AI practices to improve compensation processes.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role such as compensation, finance, or actuarial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong critical‑thinking, communication, and organizational abilities.
- High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential compensation data.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the SuccessFactors HRIS platform.
- Knowledge of salary survey tools such as McLagan and Radford (preferred).
