Communications Lead

About the role

TE's Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit, part of its Transportation Solutions segment, provides connectivity products for on- and off-highway vehicles and recreational transport. This Communications Lead position sits within the internal communications function, reporting to the Director of Marketing. The role covers internal and external communications, campaign execution and stakeholder messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive communications plan from concept to completion to drive employee engagement and awareness of Marketing and Communications activities.
• Drive internal and external commercial campaigns around key business milestones and initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to craft executive messages, announcements, scripts and talking points.
• Monitor communications performance metrics to measure effectiveness, progress and business impact.
• Continuously improve internal communications processes and share knowledge and best practices with the wider TE Communications community.
• Work with agencies for amplified reach; 5-10% travel required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations.
• At least 3 years of marketing or communications experience, including producing effective communication materials.
• Track record of developing and executing business-to-business marketing communication plans and messaging.
• Ability to explain the value of technical products in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English preferred; previous global communications experience, ideally in a multinational manufacturing organization, and additional languages or multicultural experience are an advantage.
