Cloud Architect – Azure Solutions Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to lead architecture consulting for our customers, providing thought leadership and guidance on Azure cloud solutions. You will work closely with application teams to design, document, and implement secure, cost‑effective cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews, create artifacts, and document cloud deployment designs.
• Assist application teams with risk assessments, cloud service vetting, and resolution of complex issues.
• Develop new solutions, perform proof‑of‑concepts, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Design detailed implementation roadmaps for DR, IaaS, and PaaS environments on Azure.
• Evaluate migration costs, select appropriate VM sizes, and plan network connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Implement Azure Site Recovery, Virtual Networks, and related infrastructure‑as‑a‑service components.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and deliver technical roadmaps.
• Experience designing solutions based on Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, and Intune.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (IAAS, PAAS, Azure SQL, Web Apps, Application Gateway, CDN, AD authentication)
• JSON templates, PowerShell scripting, Visual Studio
• Linux administration, Chef, Puppet (optional but advantageous)
• Azure networking (Virtual Networks, VPN, ExpressRoute)
• Azure Site Recovery, DR planning
• Azure certifications AZ‑104, AZ‑305
