Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Videndum is seeking a Buyer to manage the sourcing, negotiation and purchasing of materials, components and services needed for its manufacturing operations. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance and timely delivery while supporting production continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components and services.
• Issue and manage purchase orders based on production needs and inventory levels.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost and on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality and Logistics to guarantee material availability.
• Track and resolve delays, shortages or quality issues with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP/MRP systems.
• Support new product introductions, project transfers and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Videndum’s procurement policies and assist in supplier audits.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain processes and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement‑related tools.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English for business communication.
