Buyer Planner – Material Availability & Procurement

About the role

The Buyer Planner is responsible for ensuring material availability by managing master data, vendor capacity, and purchase orders. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to mitigate supply risks and support the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inventory analysis and maintain SCM master data in SAP.
• Execute product lifecycle forecasting and communicate forecasts and orders to suppliers.
• Place, monitor, and expedite supplier orders, ensuring alignment on delivery, quality, and price.
• Identify material shortage risks, take proactive mitigation actions, and escalate issues when needed.
• Work on root‑cause elimination to improve overall supply chain reliability.

Required profile

• Vocational education or specialized training in purchasing or inventory management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience (or 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree).
• Technical education for maintenance spare‑part procurement and basic technical knowledge of maintenance parts.
