Business Process Manager - Six Sigma Black Belt

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Business Process Manager - Six Sigma Black Belt in Heredia, Costa Rica. The role is onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It covers DMAIC-led process improvement, operational excellence, quality and customer experience, and coaching of Yellow and Green Belt candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a DMAIC approach to projects that drive business value, and run focused, collaborative, cross-functional workshops for high-priority initiatives
• Lead and project-manage large cross-functional initiatives to improve operational excellence, customer experience and quality
• Run postmortems (lessons learned) for critical escalations and field issues, and summarize study findings to support decisions on quality, efficiency, cost and customer satisfaction
• Train Yellow Belt and Green Belt candidates and advise the business on request
• Manage change, establish processes and procedures and drive sustainable, self-sustaining process improvement

Required profile

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification with 5 years of experience leading Six Sigma projects
• Prior experience in an outsourced supply chain environment with contract manufacturers
• Experience integrating Six Sigma into everyday work rather than only through a big program, and managing cross-functional improvement projects
• Ability to coach and mentor others on Six Sigma and to influence peers and senior executives
• Master's degree desirable; PMP a plus
• Moderate travel required; self-starter able to work independently and with global teams

Required skills

• Statistical techniques, flow charting and business analysis
• Statistical software such as Minitab, SAS, Stata or R
• Machine learning applied to quality projects; Python for data analysis is a plus
• Other continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen and Lean
