Business Process Manager - Six Sigma Black Belt

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Business Process Manager acting as a Six Sigma Black Belt, working onsite at an HPE office. The role leads cross-functional initiatives that improve operational excellence, customer experience and quality, and drives process and data-driven improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a DMAIC approach to projects and deliver business value
• Lead focused, collaborative, cross-functional workshops for high-priority initiatives
• Lead and project-manage large cross-functional initiatives to improve operational excellence, customer experience and quality
• Run postmortems (lessons learned) for critical escalations and field issues
• Analyse and summarise study findings to inform decisions on quality, efficiency, cost reduction and customer satisfaction
• Train Yellow Belt and Green Belt candidates and respond to business requests
• Manage change, establish processes and procedures and sustain project results

Required profile

• Six Sigma Black Belt certified with 5 years of experience leading Six Sigma projects
• Prior experience in an outsourced supply chain environment with contract manufacturers
• Experience applying Six Sigma methods in daily work rather than only through a big program
• Experience managing and facilitating cross-functional improvement projects
• Ability to influence peers and senior executives and work with distributed global teams
• Ability to coach and mentor others on Six Sigma and drive a culture of quality
• Master's degree desirable; PMP a plus
• Moderate travel required; self-starter able to manage projects independently

Required skills

• Statistical techniques, flow charting and business analysis
• Engineering, supply chain and customer success/services environments in the technology industry
• Statistical software such as Minitab, SAS, Stata, R
• Machine learning applied to quality projects; Python for data analysis is a plus
• Other continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen and Lean
