Business Development Associate - Logistics (Junior to Mid Level)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Associate to join our commercial logistics team. The role focuses on B2B prospecting, lead qualification, and acquiring new international and local commercial accounts while supporting the end‑to‑end sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and generate new business opportunities at local and international levels.
• Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion, ensuring continuous progress.
• Present and technically defend the company’s freight forwarding services (maritime, air, terrestrial) and foreign‑trade solutions.
• Design detailed commercial proposals and complex logistics quotations tailored to client import/export needs.
• Coordinate with operations and customs departments to verify technical feasibility and compliance.
• Create, validate, and onboard new clients in the internal database, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, commercial requirements, and incidents.
• Prepare weekly commercial reports covering client visits, pipeline status, closed volume, and KPIs.
• Plan and conduct virtual or in‑person meetings with decision‑makers.
• Achieve individual sales, freight volume, and profitability targets.

Required profile

• University degree in International Trade, Logistics, Customs Administration, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of proven business development or inside‑sales experience within freight forwarders or logistics operators.
• Advanced English proficiency.
