Brand Chef – Define Culinary Identity

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Brand Chef to shape the culinary identity of Arbol Restaurant, a fine‑dining venue inside the boutique Hotel Makanda. The successful candidate will create signature dishes, seasonal menus and a cohesive guest experience that blends local flavors with international cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the restaurant’s culinary brand, ensuring consistency across menus, plating and service.
• Design and refine signature dishes and seasonal menus that reflect the brand’s fusion concept.
• Set and maintain quality, flavor and presentation standards for the entire kitchen team.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on menu development, food costing and new concept launches.
• Train, mentor and inspire culinary staff to deliver the brand’s standards.
• Monitor culinary trends and introduce innovative ideas to keep the offering fresh.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Brand Chef, Culinary Director or Executive Chef in a high‑end or multi‑concept restaurant.
• Strong creative vision with expertise in both international and local cuisines.
• Excellent leadership, communication and mentoring abilities.
• Track record of developing menus and maintaining brand consistency.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
