Biologist – Remote Contract (up to $90/hr)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced biologist to design, evaluate, and improve biology, bioinformatics, and computational biology workflows that support AI benchmarking initiatives. This remote contract position offers flexible hours and competitive pay.

Key responsibilities

• Design and critique pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data analysis.
• Assess and optimize pipeline parameters, tool configurations, and statistical methods for accuracy and reproducibility.
• Analyze biological datasets and provide actionable recommendations to guide AI model development.
• Document methodologies, findings, and best practices for knowledge transfer across the team.

Required profile

• PhD in biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or a closely related STEM field, or equivalent industry/research experience.
• Professional written and spoken English (C1 level or higher).
• Proven track record of rigorous scientific problem‑solving in complex biological domains.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience analyzing real biological data.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for scientific analysis.
• Strong statistical, quantitative, and analytical reasoning abilities.
