Engineer I, Manufacturing

About the role

Join Terumo Neuro as an Engineer I in Manufacturing, supporting the development and production of medical device products. You will work on specifications, process maintenance, and design of fixtures and test equipment to ensure prototypes meet requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Improve, sustain, and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products, including tooling and fixtures.
• Support validation of products, equipment, and processes and interface with other departments to resolve production issues.
• Monitor equipment maintenance programs and conduct investigation and testing of product processes.
• Assist with prototype and pilot production, facilities planning, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and quality management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
• No minimum years of experience required; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
