BIM Lead – Mechanical & Plumbing (Job Captain)

About the role

ENG is seeking a BIM Lead (Job Captain) to head multidisciplinary mechanical and plumbing modeling teams on complex architectural and engineering projects. The role combines hands‑on Revit modeling with leadership, quality control, and coordination responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor modelers, ensuring adherence to BIM standards, project timelines, and best practices.
• Identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs/RFCs, and conduct thorough quality‑control reviews across disciplines.
• Coordinate clash detection using Navisworks (or Revizto) and drive resolution of coordination issues.
• Influence modeling strategies, maintain model accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent English (spoken and written) with strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering (or extensive MEP modeling experience for architects).
• Minimum 5 years of Revit and Navisworks experience on large‑scale MEP projects.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, modeler teams, and client interactions.
• Solid background modeling HVAC, plumbing, process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, and mechanical equipment.
