Billing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Billing Officer to join our global finance team, based in Costa Rica. You will manage receivable operations for the EMEA region, ensuring accurate billing and timely support for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide critical support to the sales team by resolving customer billing inquiries and disputes efficiently.
• Collaborate with the finance team in Australia to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Assist in improving and streamlining billing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as the main point of contact for EMEA customers, delivering quick resolutions to billing issues.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
• Customer‑oriented approach with a bias for action and results.
• Living in or near Heredia and willing to work onsite three days a week.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Working knowledge of Chargebee or similar billing platforms.
