AWS Expert Architect

About the role

We are looking for an AWS Expert Architect to lead security design for public‑facing applications hosted on AWS. You will define standards, guide cloud strategy, and ensure resilient, secure deployments across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the security architect for AWS‑hosted public applications, establishing edge security, identity, segmentation, and observability standards.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and DevOps teams to remediate misconfigurations, enforce policies, and maintain a secure cloud infrastructure.
• Design and integrate Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Cloud‑Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
• Evaluate emerging AWS services, translate them into design patterns and governance controls for internet‑exposed platforms.
• Define secure coding guidelines, vulnerability management processes, and incident‑response procedures.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert during project phases, providing security consulting and ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Embed security into the DevSecOps pipeline and promote a culture of security champions within development teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures for AWS‑based applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with architects, developers, and operations teams.
