Associate Data Analyst

About the role

Moody's is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to support data analysis, dashboard development, and data quality activities within the Ratings Business Intelligence and Process Measurement strategy. The role contributes to reliable insights that improve the end‑to‑end credit rating process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data and develop Tableau dashboards to highlight trends, risks, and performance metrics for the credit rating process.
• Prepare, validate, and reconcile data to ensure accurate and actionable reporting.
• Execute routine data quality and refresh checks to keep dashboards reliable.
• Investigate data and dashboard issues, document findings, and support root‑cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, documentation, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners on testing, implementation, and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Computer Science (preferred).
• Up to two years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations, finance, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with interest in operational controls and business processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities, organized, collaborative, and detail‑oriented.
