Associate Consultant Intern – Performance Analytics

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services (ACS) team as an Associate Consultant Intern in Performance Analytics. You will work in San Jose, Costa Rica, collaborating with small teams to help leading brands solve strategic challenges using data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support client projects by gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data using SQL, Python, or R.
• Develop and present data‑led recommendations to address business questions.
• Participate in volunteer and team‑building activities organized by ACS.
• Assist senior consultants with business development, account management, and product management tasks.
• Contribute to cross‑functional collaboration across technology, data, and consulting domains.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program related to business, engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse, client‑facing teams.
• Interest in financial services, retail, hospitality, or related industries.
