About the role
Cardinal Health is seeking an Assembly Operator I to work a compressed day shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 6 am to 6 pm. The role involves assembling product packages, verifying components, and performing quality inspections on the production line while adhering to safety and GMP standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set up workstations according to Captain/Designee instructions and GMP policies.
- Assemble product packages following DHR, special instructions, and video imaging.
- Verify component selection and ensure quantity and quality standards are met.
- Inspect components for debris or defects and report issues to management and the quality team.
- Follow safety rules, local, state, and federal regulations, and complete NCI & Defect Investigation Forms.
Required profile
- 0‑1 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to quality guidelines and safety compliance.
